Connie's Cornucopia: NEW EGGS: DUCK, QUAIL, & TURKEY EGGS
We now have Duck, Turkey & Quail eggs in stock. Right now, it is Limited Quantities.
Duck
Duck eggs are great for people who have allergies to chicken eggs.
Their shell is thicker than chicken eggs, which makes them harder to break and keeps them fresher longer.
Duck eggs are a good source of protein, vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats. They contain more vitamin A, Vitamin B-12 and calcium than chicken eggs, but less vitamin E.
Quail
Quail eggs are high in protein, fat, iron, riboflavin, and vitamin B12.
Quail eggs have double the iron and riboflavin and close to one-third more vitamin B12 than Chicken eggs. They also contain more fat and protein by weight, with fewer calories.
A single quail egg has one gram of protein, one gram of fat and zero carbs – and only 14 calories.
They contain more yolk than chicken eggs.
They are rich in antioxidants and brain nutrients.
They contain choline, which helps the body make acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter.
May help prevent anemia, boost immunity, and improve memory.
They may help treat allergies, hay fever and sinusitis.
They also may help strengthen bones and reduce allergies.
Turkey
These eggs taste similar to chicken eggs, but a richer and creamier yolk.
Turkey eggs are high in calories, fat, cholesterol, protein and Vitamins A and B.
Turkey eggs can be used in place of chicken eggs in most recipes but are especially good for sauces and baked goods.
Don’t forget we have Fruit and Vegetable Boxes they have 7-10 items in them. We also sell items individually.
